Newborn sessions can be unpredictable - multiple changes, frequent feeds and even a few tears (baby, not me!) - which is why they take place in the comfort of your home. No need to pack up the car with changing bags, lots of outfits, toys and all the other items a newborn needs

Turning a room into a temporary studio takes around 15 minutes to setup, and all of the non-outdoor images you see on this page were taken in customers homes so you really can get a studio look without leaving the house!

Older children and family sessions can also take place in your home, which means that we can still take breaks for biscuits and a change of clothes. It also keeps the sessions more fun and natural for the little ones, with their favourite toys occasionally making an appearance.

Session lengths can vary - newborn sessions can be a bit longer, up to an hour and a half, while older children and family sessions will typically last around an hour. Taking the backdrop down is quick at around 10 minutes.

Outdoor sessions are very popular, and take place all year round - as long as it’s a dry day! Outdoor sessions are great for larger families and groups.

I am happy to use your garden or local park, but many of my sessions take place at Knapwell Wood, near Swavesey, off the A14. It’s very quiet and has a little bridge, woodland and even a small hill to get a good selection of images.

I have also shot at some of the colleges in Cambridge, depending on college access (not normally an issue if you work for the University).

So whether its just the two of you, a new addition to the family, a family shoot or a bigger gathering such as a milestone birthday or anniversary, get in touch using the buttons at the top or bottom of the page, or call 07515 353404. Pricing

Your photo session will typically last around 60-90 minutes and is £45. This includes an online gallery ready for you to view within a few days of your session. If you have a larger group or would like more coverage I offer a three hour session for £70. Although weekend slots get booked quickly, I will do my best to accommodate short notice bookings.

Once you have viewed your gallery, you can then choose and pay for what you would like. Most customers now prefer to order electronic images - these give you the option to print multiple copies, incorporate into albums or to create a canvas or other wall art. All images are full resolution .jpg files and supplied via Dropbox link.
